Looking forward to it. I like scenery/danger/outdoorsy type movies like this. Hope it's good.

Saw that in the theater too, badass flick. I can relate because I've been to Moab, mountain biking and hiking. Not sure if I could cut my arm off though.

I could handle it physically, but mentally knowing you would never have that limb again would be tough to deal with.

That would definitely haunt me for a long time... Same with that movie 'touching the void'

i nearly passed out last year giving myself a cortisone shot in my foot...hacking a limb off would not be an easy task. i havent seen the movie...he had to cut the limb off proxima/upstreaml to where it was pinned right? so that would be normal tissue there with normal feeling.

eh... maybe not :P

dude, come to think of it, its kinda the same premise as sanctum... after the partner cuts the rope, the guy falls into a crevasse, thinks he's good as dead, blah blah blah, unable to climb OUT, so goes deeper into the crevasse

Saw it last night with my kid. Meh, it was OK. The movie itself was kinda bogus, but it had everything else I liked with scenery, water, outdoorsy type stuff, danger, scuba diving, rock climbing, etc.
