Red Dawn 2011

In a disturbing revelation it has been made public that the much anticipated film Red Dawn is being re-edited to remove all references to China and replace them with North Korea. The censorship is being imposed upon the makers of the film in order to satisfy business interests. The regime in China is bringing Western media further under its control.
This is a blow to all those who believe in personal freedom and human rights.

Apparently China was upset that it was the Chinese attacking the US, which is why the movie didn't get released last October. Also, apparently, the movie was partially funded by a Chinese loan. LOL

Chinese loan... ok then the movie makers have to do what their financers want. Should have gotten a loan from Japanese or Koreans, then they could make a film about China attacking the US.

So a film about PDRK attacking the US... interesting since they have very little equipment, no logistical way of getting their Army across the Pacific, and no way of supporting an invasion... unless they have Chinese help!

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Shouldn't the name of the movie be changed as well? the original title had to do with communist russia invading us. Commonly known during the cold war as "the reds"

I wont be going to see this if they are bowing to chinese pressure. full on boycot! Wolverines!!

I always thought it was a little more to do with red scare(communist countries in general) then the red menace(russia). So it still works, as long as the bad guys are commies.

Don't discount Dear Leader, current estimates are that PDRK has enough artillery pointed at Seoul to cause 90% casualties in 12 minutes TOT... and that's assuming a 60% dud rate.

They may not be a threat to us as they are now, but they are a threat to the region.

That has been that way for a looong time. That is one of the main reasons it would be very difficult to invade the north.
