Transformers 3

Absolutely Amazing. Saw it in imax 3d and was just in aw for 3 hours straight. Also being this one primarily takes place in Chicago, most of the places were easily recognizable.

Bad ass flick. The flying suit scene was sweet.

If you see it in 3d, let me just say your going to love the opening scene with her and shia.

I didnt like it very much. The relationship between shia and what'sherface was not at all believeable and the movie was just too darn long to be entertaining.

I have no problem cutting him slack, he did a good good job of including something for everyone. And that scene when bumblebee transformers on the highway with Sam in the car was straight up some of the best special effects I have scene. But, what is with the dialogue? Between action sequences, this movie was just plain weird. And he has to stop giving human features to the machines. It's annoying.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Dialogue: I spotted TWO Star Trek lines from Sentinel Prime (voiced by Leonard Nimoy). Rest of the time I was trying to spot landmarks in Milwaukee and Chicago.

Action was okay, but plot just sucked.. I mean, Prime has a damn jet pack and can't fly the extra 2 blocks to destroy the objective? WTF?

Best quote from the flick, I'm pretty sure they meant to poke fun:

"It's 128 bit binary encryption, this could be hard... but not for me, I'm in!"

Never saw avatar but I thought it was amazing in imax. The entire movie the autobots seemed to be next to me. Explosions and stuff werent as close seeming but characters and everything else was.

Saw it, loved it for what it is. A summer explosion fest Bayspectacular. Same as the other two.

Being a TF nut, I was a wee bit disappointed about how many named cons died. Not that they can't find a way to bring them back, but still. Laserbeak, Soundwave, Shockwave, Starscream and Megatron all to name a few. Plus the countless number of drone cons that were on the moon, and all the Autobots lost was Ironhide.

The dialogue was far from perfect, but what summer blockbuster is known for dialogue? Rosie did the role of Carly well. In G1 Carly marries Sam and has Spike who essentially replaces Sam.

Bay has totally said NO TF4, but given the out of being able to replace Shai with someone playing Spike 20years in the future I could see him do one other movie or two and come back to the franchise.

I'm a huge fan of Transformers and I loved the first part. T3 sucked. I was very disappointed.
