It's cool tech but any more than 10-30 minutes of watching it and my head is rocking. I think this will be it's downfall.

I refuse to watch 3D because of the headaches. It doesn't even really look all that great and many of the scenes are not shot in 3D anyways. Hopefully 3D without glasses will come along and become common technology soon and it won't hurt to watch.

Have you seen the new HTC Evo or Nintendo 3DS, cool shit and doesn't mess with my head (I haven't spent much time on either, but was fine for that short stint).

I've got astigmatism in one eye (way near-sighted) and am far-sighted in the other eye. Those 3D glasses make my head pound. No thanks.

Yup same. By the middle of a movie, my head is hurting.

PS3 has Black Ops in 3D. First night I got the PS3 we played for probably 6 hours straight. My distance vision was fucked. Like.... walking into walls fucked.

Are you sure the headache is from the TV ? My guess its from a woman nagging you about watching the TV.

I really don't think this whole 3D fad is going to last unless they come up with a way to get rid of the glasses.

One reason that it didnt take off decades ago. People got headaches. Another is the glasses required. Not everyone who has to wear glasses can use contacts so they are fucked. Havent seen any "3d" glasses that work over regular glasses.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Yeah, when I bought my last TV, I got a 3D one not because of the 3D but because of the picture quality. Personally, I can't wait for the fad of 3D movies and TV to end.

I've used it a couple times for games and once for a movie (didn't even finish the movie)

Huge waste of money! Most 3D movies that come out now are shot and produced in 2D, with the 3D effects added via CG in post-production. 3D totally ruined Tron for me

Can't stand the ones that require glasses. They KILL my head.

Wait a while, the true 3D that does not require glasses is truly unbelievable. Can't wait until commercially available and at a reasonable cost. Still has a decent range of viewing area, and it just completely pulls you into the screen.

No headaches.
