Repainting Fairings

I'm new to this so I am not sure if this is the right forum for this.

I purchased a new set of fairings for my zzr600. They came painted and all was well. Needless to say I dropped it taking a very very slow turn. The damage is minimal but it is time to fix it.

My question is: Is there a specific paint I need to use? Do I need to prime it? I know that I need to sand it and clear coat it. I just don't know if there are specific paints out there for the plastics on the bike.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

LOL.... thought about that but the bike is currently black with metallic orange flames. If I put a sticker on it, it just wouldn't look right. So I am changing the whole thing.

The damage is minimal scratches. I want to repaint the whole bike so it all needs to be sanded and painted. I don't have pictures right now. If you need them I can send some this weekend. Its a 2007 Kawasaki ZZR600.
