How do I

Get the inner clip-on insert out of the clip-on? You know where the bar end screws into...

I dont have your answer.....but it might help to know what type of bike, and OEM or Aftermarket clipons and if aftermarket what type

Everyone needs a healthy way to relax, mine Church, and two wheels, a stretch of winding road, and a pipe loud enough to give me headaches and make squirrels explode. (Fixed curtousey of PWRMAD)

Nothing is impossible the second we say ill try your already admiting you can be defeated, and the second you say i cant or its to hard youve already failed.

most aftermarket clipon's just have a fixed cap, so I'll assume this is a stock clipon, that "insert" is probably pressed and or welded in. I don't think you'll be getting it out.

If it's like the one in this diagram you take the weight off (bar end) thread the screw back in a few turns and tap the screw with a hammer to release the nut from the expander and then pull it out.

03 rc51, stock clip on

I have the replacement parts. Comes with the "insert inner thingy" and two rubber o-rings for each side of inner piece. Maybe I can get some pics...or if you are bored, look at the diagram on bike bandit.

Steve you should know. What's this soap and water bs?
