Radiator leaking 09 CBR 600RR, fairing touch up

Hi Guys,

I found my motorcycle lying on the ground in the parking lot on the day I returned from the Michigan ride, since I didn't get to see who did I need to fix it myself. The original inspection showed some scratches on the right lower/mid fairing. I want to get it touched up. Any advices where to get it done? Which one is better getting it touched up or seeking a used one?

Another things which I discovered later is that radiator is leaking coolant. It also shows that it got bent by hitting the exhaust pipe. I am not sure if that can be fixed by welding or using any sealant.

Any CBR 600RR owner around?

Rohit

if you take the radiator off, any radiator repair shop can repair your leak, or ebay a used one.

i'd also ebay another fairing...

How are the fairing on the ebay.. I haven't seen them in real.. Are they flimsy? since getting a flimsy one would cost me more in long run.

About Fairing touch up I would get in touch with Ken.

Is there any sealant which can fix the radiator if I know where its leaking from?

Thanks Dave!

I never thought about this since I like motorcycle that are completely stock. In general I am not that great over picking up the sticker/coloring theme. I will look out for help in this regard.

Guys,

What are the demerits of claiming my insurance for this one. Will my insurance go up immediately? I have never claimed anything from my insurance
