R6 not starting

Hello ...

Need some help on determining what my issue is with my bike. I checked the battery its charged and I took it to the dealer to make sure it was still good. I wanted to know what I other things I should be checking to find out what the issue is.

Problem:
when I press the ignition switch I hear like a "pop" sound, if I hold it down I get a rattle, kind of like a countinuous popping sound.

Sounds like a battery problem. How old is the battery?

0.003v when sitting
0.018v when key is on the "on" position.
0.420v when pressing the ignition.

Looks like I need a new battery.

The dealer told you that battery was still good? That's funny

Had this problem with my CBR the other day.

Make sure you *charge the new battery over night* even though the tender/charger says its charged and goes in storage mode.
