Hmmm these parts dont fit

a fella brings a bike with carb kits.Tells me it's a zx9.

I start into the carbs and find the kit doesn't really fit.Along the way I find a bent main jet tube.
I tell him to order the part. Three days later its the wrong part????

Hmmm??What is this bike??

take a look at the vin #Hmmm it's upside down.Hmmm?? check the title and the #'s match.

Ok lets figure this out, after an hour looking through microfiche we decide it's a 600R with re stamped #'s .the title says zx9.

watch your back while buying bikes from some of these shops.

Expert cycle in Blue Island Better have all their ducks in a row on this one because this owner is pissed and calling the popo.

Wow. That's pretty sleazy!

Even if the dealer didn't switch numbers, it's highly unlikely they didn't know. At the very least they would have cleaned the bike up and done some minimal things to prep it for sale.

Wouldnt the engine be stamped with the actual displacement?

Chicks dig guys with hippohands on their sportbikes.

599.

Hind sight tells the story of course. After ordering the parts and thinking you own a 900.

It kind of sucks.

I think some young sport bikers are the perfect customer.buyer beware.
