Chain swap in Oswego/Aurora/Naperville area

Is there anybody around my area that would be able to do this for me on the cheap? Don't want to go too far because my chain is trashed and won't stay adjusted. My buddy gave me a practically new chain, needs a few links removed, and I got a new master link that needs to be pressed and riveted on.

Thanks

No sir, just the chain for now, sprockets are both in good shape still. This is just to get me through the rest of the season...all new chain and sprockets are going to be done over winter along with a bunch of other stuff.

Too far away to help you, sorry.

You can remove the extra links by grinding off the heads of the rivets on those links with a dremel. Then remove the plate using a large flat-head screw driver. To put on the master link, you need this type of tool.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.
