Local machine shop recommendations?

Hello,
First post.

I was wondering if there was a local shop you know does good work around Chicago in particular the near west burbs. Before I send stuff out of state.

I ride an 05 zx10r and have some older bikes I'm restoring. In particular a yamaha triple xs750 with an 850 engine.

Looking for a shop that does 3 angle valve jobs. Need cylinders honed as well.

Thanks in advance.
John

Most heads I've seen respond well to hand lapping and a spot face of the valves.

unless your plan is runner porting and such. You'll be happy and money ahead with lapping results.

Great! Thanks!

Looks like you are 15 minutes from me.

I'm looking to freshen up a Yamaha xs850 engine. I'm in love with the engine. Old style two valve, but a triple. The rest of the bike, not so much.
But I figure if I can build around that engine, it'll be worth it.
