What Brand Helmet Do You Wear?

I just got a new helmet, haven't tried it on track yet - but so far fit and finish seems great.

Since most of the time we see each other with helmets on - I was wondering, what brands do you guys and girls wear?

I will make it multiple choice since many of us have multiple lids.

I am sure I will forget some brands - if so please mention it here and perhaps the mods can add the option

I have a HJC now. Good lid, a bit loud and not as comfortable as the $$$ lids, but I like it. It's 5 years old, so I need a new one for next season. I was wearing Mandys HJC when I had an off last year, it held up great. For $80, it saved my bacon. It hangs in my garage as a reminder not to ride like an asshat again. I'd like something with a bit more comfort next year.

I have road tested in the last 6 years, the HJC and Shoei. Both worked incredibly well, the HJC was a less expensive road test, Shoei prettier. Just wear one, they all give you a fighting chance.

I had 150$ HJC and was laud and heavy, now I have Scorpion pretty much same price range and much lighter and more quite, lots of vents plus has nice matte finish. Only thing I don't like is the first click of my visor it's to high, too much of a opening.

Arai for the fit and comfort. The way I look at it is if I am doing a 650 mile ride in one day I want something that fits perfect and his like a pillow on my head. The last thing I want is a $80 helmet just to get buy because its cheap and looks nice. You will not be as wore out at the end of a ride with something that is comfortable and doesnt annoy you while you ride.

Another one I forgot. Haven't heard much of them in a while, didn't know they were still selling motorcycle helmets.

I even forgot a brand I have. I bought a Roof Boxer a few years ago with a dark shield. Had to order it from Europe and pay in euros. They forgot the shield and I ended up just hating the helmet. I still have it sitting inns storage shed right now.

I've owned 2 Arai Corser Vs and 1 Suomy Spec 1r. IMO, the fit and finish of Arai helmets are second to none.

Bought an AFX helmet as my first, then got a good deal on a Scorpion and got that. Worlds better too. Quieter, more comfortable, tinted visor.

Had a hjc cl-sp last year, this year bought an AC-12 Carbon Spies edition, the helmet is super super light and has great air flow, only complaint is that the shell is pretty big compared to an arai or shoei, although its significantly lighter than a lot of the "higher end" helmets.

Spot on. As much as my HJC is functional, I want a more comfortable helmet. I was feeling it when I did the F4T. 500+ mile days with a HJC was the suck.

FYI the carbon hjc helmets are lighter than any arai or shoei helmets.

In my opinion HJC's are complete crap. Cheaply made and feel the exact same way on ur head. Even the top models. And yes I have own them.

I have a Shoei that was made to match the colors of my busa. It is comfortable but the lens tends to fog once the temp drops. Haven't tried any anti-fog stuff to see if it helps but if I keep the lens opened one notch it is fine. Maybe I just have alot of hot air or something...hehehe.

That last two I've had were Arai, but have had a few HJC's that were fine. I'll only buy Arai from now on though.

Simpson. Its light and comfortable but loud as fuck. Basically its an auto racing helmet.

Will be looking for something new for next season with the top thing for me being quiet.

I hear Shark is the way to go for quiet - although supposedly the new Arai RXQ are quiet as well - as I said earlier i bought the Shark to try something new, it had great reviews and I got a rather good deal on it

Arai Corsair. I love it. I want a Soumy, and an AGV to try.

I noticed there is no box to check for None. Since I have moved back I have only seen about 5% of riders wearing helmets. It's unbelievable. No wonder we can't split lanes, buncha squids.
