Hmmm...depends on if we're talking short or long term here

Although it often looks to be the easiest, broken ribs are supposed to be awful...so that gets my vote.

I couldn't decide on whether to make this a "What would be worse?" poll or a "Pick your poison, what would you rather have done to you?" poll.

Broken ribs.

They take forever to heal and I don't think there's much you can do for them.

It was between that and a broken arm, but you have two of those.

That is, of course, unless you're talking like brain damage from the choke out.

You people must not know what a face that's been truly beaten in looks like. Think cleft palate, crooked nose, eyes closed shut with bruising on the eyeballs, split brows and extensive dental work required. You will NEVER look the same again.

I went broken arm because I would like use of my arms while I heal and you didn't specify face beaten in. Broken face bones and missing teeth would make me change my vote.

I've bruised my ribs before and that hurt like hell for a long time. Like someone stabbing my lungs each breath. I can't imagine breaking one or more.
