Are these inappropriate words?

Just wondering if these words would be considered "inappropriate Language" for CLSB Open forums? Ive seen them quite often on here as recently as today and just wanted to make sure that i don't step over any boundaries as i wouldn't want to get a infraction, Ive added asterisks to most of the words as until i get feedback.

Seriously! CLSB has gotten PC all of a sudden.

We have a gay sub section, but I get flagged for posting a pic of two dudes kissing.
Had I posted a pic of two chicks kissing, I probably would have gotten 10 reps.

That is one way of looking at it. The other way is that it can't just continually get worse around here. At some point, the monkeys need to be reigned in.

Personally, I post less and less on here, and read less and less on here as it continues in a downward spiral.

How about a high quality forum, with people that are focused on helping each other, sharing knowledge, and learning from others opinions?

Guess that is too much to ask for lately.

None of the words are inappropriate .... but there is always an opportunity to use language that won't offend anybody.

BTW ... you cannot vote unless you check something .... and "none of the above" wasn't a choice.

Brian has a point ..... this site at times is far more about Drama and "Internet Political Sparring" than it is about motorcycles.

And note, I did *not* say political "discussion" because most of the conversations on here are just pointless baiting, bashing and name calling ...... pointless.

I agree, actually it shows how UN-PC, sexist & homophobic it was that you got flagged down for 2 dudes kissing, i could care less about 2 dudes kissing. If it was 2 dancing boyz or some old fat bald hairy italian dude like me kissing some dancing boyz then i could see that for being flagged!

I t hink that a large part of the problem is the staff/owners aren't involved with the motorcycle scene anymore. They are not visible to the general population.

hmmmmmmmmmm.....staff/owners aren't involved in the m/c seen yet they own/operate the biggest m/c message board in the area? I'm confused! LOL

btw.....this scene is huge, most people blend in and aren't "visible" in the scene.

Fuck those fucking fuckers. If you find this language inappropriate just think to urself bleep those bleep bleep. This is a motorcycle forum when u go on rides how often do u discuss how big of an Asshole that caged was or how that fucking taxi cut me off . Or how that bitch was putting on makeup. The reason this site is so popular is because what it has grown into. I love the fact that I can come on here with my fellow motorcyclists and talk about darn near anything we like, as long as it is in the proper sub forum. If we police ourselves properly and keep the subject material where it belongs it will help. There will always be people out there that will try and ruin things for their own self entertainment.

Is not that its become PC all of the sudden, although it may seem like that to some, especially if you've only been here a year or two. after 11 years of running this forum its actually just a cycle that the site goes through. Usually its brought on by winter and cabin fever and it comes in stages. Every spring we get an assload of new members, as they become more comfortable and get to know people over the summer, everyone becomes friends, then winter hits, we all get bored, some people become a little more outspoken then some people become even more outspoken and limits keep getting pushed, till a mod gets sick of some members complaining about it. Then when action is taken it seems we are getting all PC, and we are told people just need to get a thicker skin, when in reality we are not we are just reigning it back in to what it normally is and what we expect of our membership. Which is mutual respect for all members. if you wanna get raunchy or start a bunch of drama, that's what the Hole is for, its the exact reason we made it. If all that drama is started out in the open you scare away new members, which basically kills the site, as every year some of you drop off into new hobbies, or go start your own sites when you get pissed about our sudden supposed PC-ness. You wouldn't believe the list of names I could rattle off that most of you have never heard of, just because the site has progressed over the years and people move on.

It's just about the Golden rule people.

And as far as the staf not riding as much any more, sure that's true to a point, but hey I've been riding for over 20 years, right now I have a new business and a family to support, if one of you has a nice bike to donate to me to ride, I'd be happy to show up at more events. Life changes people. I think the fact that we still take time out of our lives to run a site this big and support this community should be taken into account for something.
