Enjoy a cool drag of the leavy stuff?

So, I was up at Strat's a couple of weeks ago and out on some rides, and it hit me that all you muthas smoke. It doesn't bothers me, I smoked two packs a day for two years. I just thought it was interesting. It seems a large portion of motorcycle riders smoke. Let's see the percentage of the site that enjoys a cool drag of the leavy stuff.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Smoked for 11 years and now the ONLY time I REALLY want and do smoke is after I get off the bike - The rush is still going and the calm that a smoke brings is oh so nice

And when you say leavy stuff, I thought you were talking about the stuff that is in Kaos's dugout????

Quit over 1 1/2 yrs ago. One thing I have noticed on most MC sites is that it seems that almost everyone that rides either smokes or has smoked and quit at some point in their life. It probably has something to do with our risk tolerance.... in general people that ride have a higher risk tolerance then the general population.

i smoke and i am always self-conscious about it around others. I do try not to smoke "upwind" of a nonsmoker.
I really want to quit and someday soon I will but for now... about a half pack a day.

I used to smoke, but now it bothers me so much I can't even stand to be around it outside. In fact, I often will skip going out altogether if I am going to be around a smoker. My boss smokes, and she does it in her car and she acts like no one can smell it since she opens the window. I won't even get in the car with her. She also reeks from it but that is another story.

Just quite cigarettes last Saturday but continue to smoke cigars.
I am using the nicotine patch which helps a little but I still crave the taste of smoke.

My thinking is cigars are less damaging than cigarettes because I don't inhale and I am not inclined chain smoke with cigars.

Occasional smoker here.

I can go days or even weeks without a smoke. But, go out for some serious drinking and I chain-smoke! Maybe it's because I used to be a pack a day smoker but for me. . . drinking and smoking just kind of go together.

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. ~ Buddha

At Strats your standing around and if you used to smoke it just feels natural to BS and smoke.

Went cold-turkey in 1990 from a 3-pack-a-day habit and have never had a desire to smoke since then.

I hate secondhand smoke - it irritates my eyes and lungs and smells like shit. Can't abide the way it makes folks' hair and clothes smell. Smoke is a big reason why I don't like to go to bars.

A large cigar has enough nicotine to kill a person when it's all inhaled.

Cigars never did anything for me...but it seems like they're good for pissing off hot chicks at bars.

I quit smoking a while ago and have never felt better.
