If you ABSOLUTLY had to???

I got this idea after watching Letterman last night...

If you were voting for a politician and absolutly had to vote for one of the two,

would you vote for the crook or the racist!?!?

Your poll vote is anonymous.....but it would be interesting to see peoples views as to why they chose the one they did!

I got to know the severity of their imperfections. How much of a crook is the crook and same Q for the racist.

If the racist was out like Hitler to eliminate all races that were different than him/her, then that would be a no brainer, the crook would get my vote

the question is far too vague. Crook = unpaid parking tickets or Crook = murderer? Racist = prefers mexican gardeners or Racist = wearing a white sheet on his head?

Wouldn't a preference FOR Mexican gardeners be racist towards other races?

Well, Letterman had James Carvel on and they were talking about politicians who have either gone to or had been in jail/penn.

James Carvel who really enjoys politicians from the south, particularly from Louisianna because they're so outspoken, brought up the Louisiana Governor's race in the late 80s early 90's between David Duke and Edwin Edwards saying that one of Edwards sayings was "I might be a crook but would you rather vote for a racist!?" (Ewards being convicted of some crime dealing with money.)

So that being said, the context my question would be related to a racist as in David Duke or Crook as in Edwin Edwards!

Sorry for the vagueness! (my first poll!)

Man, you'd have to be a pretty big crook for me to choose David Duke over you. That falls into my white sheet territory, people that fucking crazy should hold any level of government office. I guess I'll give Edwards a pass on the whole rackateering thing.

Not mutually exclusive at all.

By the way, isn't a crook politician redundantly repetitive? It feels like deja vu all over again the second time around (and around). It kinda sounds like an oxymoron to me.

As my one Filipino friend used to say when I asked him why he supported Marcos. He said they both cheat he just knows how to do it better.

They have an ex KKK senator in office, who has managed to drop the N bomb on TV twice, but people keep voting for him.
