What is your mortage payment?

Just curious as to what people are paying for their homes. Oh and this is completely anonymous. just wondering what people see as reasonable for a mortgage payment.

Oh and since a lot of us escrow our taxs, include your taxs in this, if you don't escrow them just divide your taxs by 12 and add it in. lets keep it apples to apples.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Patience... it takes time to type a poll.

And what you pay is the poll, reasonable can be up for discussion below.

since it's about payments, the term length probably should be off because you have no 20yr ones listed, etc.

Just my .02, but the amount of the mortgage as related to reasonable doesn't really work for me.

A $1,000 a month payment for someone that makes $25,000 might be WAY more than a $3,000 payment for someone who makes significantly more per year. For example, I have friends whose house payments are north of $10,000 per month. But that 10k is like me buying dinner relative to what they make per year.

Just a thought...

Not yet, although I think you can do that in Harvey - The only town besides Park Forest where you can get a single family house with a big fenced-in yeard and detached garage for grocery money!
