how do you see well?

with all the recent talk of lasik and Cerk now needing glasses I got curious as to what everyone uses to see the cagers clearly...

Glasses and contacts.

Contacts for work, sometimes going out.

My old-ass 8 year old glasses (my dog ate my new ones a while back and I still haven't replaced them) after work, weekends around the house.

So I don't know which option to choose.

I'm pretty nearsighted and can't see far away to save my life, even if I squint.

I am the last one in my immediate family to still have 20/20. Both my parents and both my brothers have all needed glasses since grade school. If/When the time comes, I already have money set aside for Lasik. I don't even like wearing sunglasses for extended periods of time.

Born with 20/20, but now have 20/20 with a stigmatism in the left eye, and 20/30 in the right eye that is also near sighted. I wear contacts for softball only and glasses when driving at night.

I've had extended wear soft lenses for 26 years. Up till recently I corrected to almost 20/10. My doctor who seems to be biased against Lasik, told me I wouldn't see as well so I stayed with contacts. I'm now a solid 20/15 (getting old sucks), but have a viral infection in my left eye for 2 months that won't go away. I'm in glasses till it resolves. I may elect to try Lasik after this is done, as my doctor says no more sleeping in my contacts for me.

20/15 in one eye, 20/80 in the other. I had an injury requiring surgery in the one eye. That on is the better than perfect. Was thinking of getting surgery on the other eye, but I need some teeth first.

+1

I HATE glasses. I wear my contacts no matter what...maybe I'll wear my glasses for an hour before bed, but forget about anymore than that. I hate the way my ears wanna tense up in back to "hold up" the glasses even though they fit fine. I hate having those things on my face.

I'm far sighted, and I have 20/20 in my left eye and I'm 20/30 or so with my right eye. But the right eye doesn't get used because my brain doesn't use it since I was so far sighted as a kid, my brain just kind of stopped using it because it couldn't put the two pictures together. I was partially blind in my right eye when I was five. Glasses improved it as best as it could, but nothing will get my brain to put the two pictures together. So, I'll never have depth perception.
