Have you ever been in a fight?

A real fight with punching and kicking. Where somebody was bloodied. I am not talking about a guy fight where you shove and posture hoping to break it up.

Very few fights, the worst was in High school. I pulled the guy over the lunch table, held his shirt with my left hand, and continued to beat him silly with the right until teachers came to pull me off of him. I gave this guy plenty of warnings and opportunities to leave me alone, he continued, so I lost it. They didn't even suspend me. I was an honor roll student with no history of trouble, so they sent me on my way .

When in high school there were two twins taller and stronger than I ever hoped to be and they picked me as target for bullying. After about 6 months of constant abuse I lost it and we took it outside to the school backyard.

Prior to them turning me to bloody pulp, I managed to bloody one brother's nose, open another one's lip and give both a black eye. Soon after I passed out. After that fight they become my best friends, we went through the rest of school and 2 years of college, before I left Russia.

When I served in Israeli Armed forces I spent over a year in anti-riot unit stationed on West Bank, do I have to say more?

Lost count, but that was years ago.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

Yes, unfortunately only about 4 weeks ago in St Louis. I was sober and in control but I got put into a bad situation. It did not last too long. I got my nose bloodied up but he got it alot worse than I did. In a weird way it was kind of fun...

Fought a lot during high school, not as much during college and it was mostly when I was drunk and out of control. When I realized that the penalties for beating someone to a bloody pulp outweighed my stupidity to do it in the first place I calmed down a lot. That and the fact that swollen knuckles take a lot longer to heal than a bloody nose or black eye.

Plenty in school. Until I dropped a varsity 6'+ football player when I was a sophmore. Typical senior thinking a sophmore is easy pickings ended up getting a cowboy boot in the groin (pointed boots no less) and then after he doubled over, one to the side of the head. No one ever messed with me in HS again.

Does sending 2 teenage kids who tried to rob me with a pocket knife to teh hospital count?

CLSB Fight Club FTW!!!

Who would you fight?

On CLSB, it would be 'Trash. I'd kick his ass, then pee on his two fiddy. J/K bro.

In real life, I would fight Butch Patrick, aka Eddie Munster. I dislike him, and would kick the crap out of him.

On one hand, there are three bars in Lake Co. I am not allowed to go into. . . "ever"! Those are from a few years back when I was in shape and hadn't yet been in my race induced coma.

Last one was about five years ago. Got my ass beat so bad I literally prayed to God that I'd be able to see out of my right eye again and that the damage wouldn't stay with me for life! It was an ass kicking like nothing I've ever been through. I've been hurt less crashing bikes!

Bottom line is this - [email protected] with me, or someone/something I care about, and there aren't too many folks that intimidate me. Even if someone's a bigger, badder dude I promise you'll remember me even if you win. But, as I mature I realize most shit ain't worth it. I'd rather talk it out over a beer then have to get bailed out and be sore for a few days.

This maturity thing is getting weird!

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, no matter if I have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense. ~ Buddha

Cool quote, hardcore mentality but the magic wears off when you blind a guy in one eye because he had his beer muscles on and he has to spend the rest of his life with no depth perception. That was the end result of the last fight I've been in and have no interest in doing it again.

Now defending my friends and family is another story altogether, but not because some dude is talking shit, driving like an idiot or some other nonsense. I like riding motorcycles and fucking girls too much to risk jeapordizing either by losing my cool, just not worth it. Call me a pussy if you will but I think I have my priorities in order.

I'd happy with a controlled MMA style fight, bar fights or w/e are ridiculous and are easily avoided if people would just check their ego.

As you said, too much stuff can happen, I don't want to get seriously hurt or hurt anyone else, but just to see how I'd handle myself in such a situation would be nice to know
