Where does your party affiliation fall into.

Ok Vcook says we are over run with conservatives, I say we are over run with democrats, lets settle this once and for all, is site blue or red?

Vote honestly, and not who your going to vote for but which party is closest to your stand on the issues, we all know people cross voting lines depending on the candidates but I wanna know which party is closest to what you believe from these choices. Yes I'm only listing two, as we have a two party system in this country, I know we can further pigeon hole each other but thats not what I'm looking to do here. So vote up honestly.

It just feels that way to me since the republicans on this board are so outspoken and aggressive on their positions.

By definition I fit the Republican party. Which used to be know as prefering a small governing body.

Times have changed though. Each candidate is trying harder than ever to appeal to both sides, in order to win. This obliterates the steadfast lines, between parties.

The presidence has become "big business," leaving the "common folk" out of the decision making process. The only way to become president is to be in the pockets of some big money backers. Which isn't the way this country was supposed to be.

I think there should be a cap on amount of money, any candidate could spend on elections.

I had to think long and hard about this one, but had to cast the Dem.

I have some pretty liberal social leanings but I would bet I'm a bit more of a true conservative on almost every other government matter than most here are. (that usually is what throws people a curveball)

The problem here is the party loyalists, they just agree with their party without having a clue as to what the party stands for. Kind of scary if you ask me.
