Lunch Time Convo Today

Smokey & The Bandit vs Smokey and The Bandit #2

Both Movies have their High Points and both are great IMHO - I know which one I liked better and why - Now I am in wonder of yours and why

I like the addition of Dom D and the "workout" routine when they whip the Bandit back in shape as well as the Everglade Scenes so I went with #2 - I liked the "Cargo" better in #1 though

I do agree that the initial hotel/drunk scene in 2 was classic.

They had the same in #2 as well:

"Hey Daddy look, its an Alligator - That reminds me, I gotta call your momma"

I like #1, Sally Field looks better and they "feature" her cute little ass early in the movie.

#2 is good too, more of a tribute to one if you ask me.

I own both movies, got some of the Cannonball Run movies too.

You got to go with three just because Jerry Reid plays The Bandit.

Remember the good ol days when Coors was a treat whenever somebody went out west and would bring some back?

Though the Truck and Cop car fight in two has merits.

Jackie Gleason was awesome in both... but the characters were definitely more 'on' in #1.

I can see her now,
runnin' back up that aisle...

No, she was dancin'
back up the aisle,

her knockers bouncin'
all over the joint.

Why, her ass was wigglin', too."

Everyone Exaggerates

We're being taken for a ride... agaaaaaaain.....

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

i like 1, some movies once you see the original first and like it, your opinion of the sequels is automatically biased...

plus the headlights on the ta looked ugly after 78 imo

my dad had a 78 special edition that he restored when i was littler...still mad that he sold it!
