How much does your wife spend on her getting her hair done?

Just curious to see what everyone's wife/girlfriend spends on getting their hair done?

Nada. I help her straighten her hair, that's about it. Now that i think of it, the gf doesn't really do much to her hair, it just looks nice all the time (even in the mornings..shocker lol).

Was this thread created so that you could justify spending $200+ on a pair of jeans?

Well let's see...

Hair extensions cost about $300 every other month.

If I'm brunette it only costs me about $10 a month to maintain the color since I buy the professional stuff and touch it myself. Cost $285 to get from blonde to brunette tho.

If I'm blonde it costs me about $100 every month to maintain and it costs about $400 to go from brunette to blonde.

the kid here at work spends $50 every weekend getting his hair cut.

but hes not my wife. i just thought it was hilarious that someone spends $50 every weekend to cut their hair and maintain it. especially when his hair is buzzcut. hes paranoid that it turns into an afro after more than a week.

I don't have a wife or girlfriend, but I spend nearly $300 including tip. That's only once a year though, and it's a 4 hour appointment to have dread maintenance done, and the tightening, addition, and removal of dread extensions. If I didn't have the maintenance done, it would look worse than it does now (for those that hate dreads) and they would all fall off because I have the wrong hair texture for them (ergo the addition of extensions).

When I had "normal" hair, it would be about $125 three or four times a year for cut/color, but it was complicated 3 color application. I did cut/color myself for a while which was cheap, but the cuts looked like poo.

With normal extensions, I paid $300 for installation, and $150 to have them tightened every few months.

I cut my husband's hair at home.

OMG....and I thought I spent a lot

Hmmmm.....well I just went from blonde to dark brown...and that's an upkeep cuz my roots come in blonde

But I get my hair done maybe every other month..depends on how bad it looks...and I spend around $100 (And that's cut/color/style)

If I'm blonde I barely spend any money in the summer since it lightens on it's own....but now that I have dark brown...

Bald + clippers ftw. I cut my hair at least once a week, costs me nothing but time. I enjoy cutting my own hair, at least i can try out different styles before shaving it all off.

Whether I go here in SA or to my place in IL, I never spend more than $70 on a cut.

I only just started lightening and that was $90 the first time and it should be $60 to maintain.... so about $130/month. But, I don't think I'm going to keep lightening.

This is the gayest thing I've ever posted on this board....and I've posted some dumb shit.

I spend a whopping $25...includes a $7 tip every 6 weeks. She cuts my hair out of her house...she's a little cutie and has been cutting my hair for about 8 years.

as long as my wife looks good to me i don't care how much she spends, as long as she is happy how she spends her/my money i don't care. thankfully she doesn't spend a lot to get fab hair or the people that she knows.

i just feel sorry for women you wouldn't believe some of the shit they have to deal with and i am mainly talking about salons with shitty attitude towards there clients regaurdless of price.

its not easy being a women and staying on top of themselfs looking good, or wanting to change there look all together for something different to just having fun with it while still being sexy.

i don't find this thread weird, in fact i know a little bit about the industry myself

nothing better to make someone look as good as they feel inside, sometimes even more so.

price is only relevant to perception, thank goodness she knows a place to get that over "the high end salon" prices yet gets "the look" at a economical price and treated like she SHOULD be as women and a customer.

thank god i buzz my head.

I can't imagine spending in a year what most of your wives spend on a single cut. $20 every 6-8 weeks. I knew women paid a lot to get their hair cut or styled or w/e but holy hell, $200+ is insane.

$350, cut, color & tip

This sounds insane, but it's only a few times a year. She likes to look her best, and deserves nothing less. Want to drive a Ferrari, you have to maintain it.
