Nope, don't snore at all... or so I've been told.

My daughter used to snore really bad and when she was 3 she had her adenoids and tonsils removed and she hasn't snored since. Best $3,000 ever!!!!!

you need to try that laser blast thing they do to the roof of your mouth. That noise you make cant even be quantified by the word snoring. It sounds like some sort of dismemberment with a chainsaw.

Do you have any acid reflux?

I would recommend you go in for a sleep study to find out for sure.

Nope. I slept in an ex-gf's closet for most of the night and the moms went inside to check up on her, and she never knew i was there. I guess being a Ninja has it's perks.

1. do the sleep study. We thought my mom had apnea, so her and my step-dad did the sleep study thing on the same night. Turns out he had it really bad with NO symptoms. He did the c-pap machine until he had his tonsils and adenoids out and his uvula (sp?) trimmed.

2. try pepcid ac in the am for a few weeks. It's over the counter and works very very well.

Our daughter sounded like a buzz saw all night, and she was up and down several times a night. We took her for a sleep study and she didn't have apnea but had reactive airway disorder. It required tonsils and adenoids out. She sleeps 10 hours a night now, no snoring at all anymore.

Some other things that will help, drop excess weight. Elevate the head of the bed. Stop caffeine, and spicy foods for a week or so, see if that helps.

Good luck. ~Mandy

Sleep apnea and acid reflux go together more or less. One can cause or make worse the other. You can't fix one without fixing both.

If untreated, acid reflux can lead to throat cancer.

See an MD and schedule a sleep study. It could save your life. Reggie White died at age 48 and sleep apnea was the cause.

ahh no (now that you described acid reflex) i dont ever get that.

chances are i have something wrong with me, but i will NEVER be able to sleep with one of those respirators on my face. not that its a disorder but if anyone touches me when i sleep other then my wife i go into self defense mode.
its token me and my wifes early years to get adjusted to it, and for me to get use to her waking me up by touching me if she needs to. most of the guys that ever shared a room with me know about this. and NO i was never molested as a child

i know what that is from though but it concerns no one but uncle sam.

(2) beat the ever-living shit out of the person sleeping next to me, if they are snoring

Ody, your poor wife. I feel bad for her waking every couple of hours.

My daughter snored real badly for the first few years of her life. Eventually, she got tonsillitis, not due to snoring, and had a tonsillectomy and adnoidectomy.

She sleeps quieter than ever and gets a good nights rest.

Before she had suffered from minor sleep apnea, but this fixed all. It is a simple procedure that they are bringing back to the norm, for a while it was considered unnecessary.

if you DO have acid reflux then just sleep on your left side. that will prohibit the acidic fumes from the stomach coming back up to the throat and actually causeing damage. just a little tid bit of probably useless information that is floating around in my head.
