no New York Times No Wall Street Journal The Trib is barely considered a newspaper. The rest...rags. I do like getting most of my news from here http://www.economist.com/

It's not news, it's Fark.com

In the digital age, I see no reason for newspapers. (and what the hell is Southtown?)

If you had allowed multiple choices, I would have chosen the following, in no particular order:

1. Wall Street Journal
2. Chicago Tribune
3. Red Eye
4. Crain's Chicago Business

Sun Times online used to have a lot of local Chicago dirt but since they revamped their website a year ago or so it has less news than the Trib.

The Trib is aweful but I love reading the reader's commentary online which makes up for the sensationalism in the articles.

What about Crain's Business? I read that weekly.

I used to read the Red Eye (its free). It isn't a very good newspaper. I stopped reading it a while ago and now I just sleep on the train in the mornings. I read Digg now.

At my house, I pay to have the Daily Herald delivered and my parents get the Sun Times. We don't read the news in either one, but both come with a TV Guide. Also, this gives us a bit better selection of the sale papers to find out where good deals on food and other items are since they are not all in one paper.
