Is Raiders the best?

With the upcoming release of the new Indiana Jones movie I can't but ponder the eternal question, Is Raiders the best of the Trilogy? Traditionally Raiders has been considered the best and Temple the worst, but I've always loved Temple and always thought it got a raw deal. What do YOU think?

I can't find my Han Solo or Indiana Jones poll either, must have gotten nuked from age. We'll do that one next, it's lots of fun. When Indiana Jones wins I just edit the poll to give Han Solo a million votes and make things the way they should be.

Raiders was the best, I think the kid got on my nerves in the 2nd one. Sean Connery did a fantastic job in the Last crusade. I put the Temple at the bottom as well.

Temple was pretty much confined to the one area once they arrived. The other two are all over the place, the contrast makes them better.

Besides, Indy againts Nazi's is better than anything else. That will be the one dissapointment with the new movie.

wow id rate em

1) Temple
2) Raiders
3) Crusade

scratch that

1) Temple
2) Crusade
3) Raiders

the opening of the ark/covenant totally ruined the flick, i actually laughed out loud and yelled CMON!

and i get all 3 flicks have supernatural aspects to them, spirits, taking out hearts, the holy grail. i just think that raiders was executed the worst out of the flicks. last crusade took too long to get moving for me. temple was just an enjoyable flick but still missed the adventure aspects the other 2 had.

Raiders, Temple, Crusade - Raiders: best all around and hard to beat melting Nazis, Temple: Dark/evil setting and the eye ball soup is still awesome, Crusade: best F/X and taking a plane out with birds is up there.

please, watching the spirits fly out of the ark was like watching the spirits in GHOST take the bag guys away to hell. it was just sloppy. i have no problem with movies having super natural or religious shit in em as long as they make it look good at least.

dude, it came out in like '81!!! Go watch movies from that era, with the exception of the trilogy(there is only one trilogy, you know what I'm talking about) they all look garbage. In comparison Raiders is pretty good, and they didnt fuck it up when the released it on DVD by redoing anything.

As I recently watched all 3 thanks to a boxed X-mas set I would have to rate'em in this order:

1) Raiders
2) Crusade
3) Bonus Material
4) Temple of no Doom

Also, I found out that a new Blue Ray Edition will be out in time for this X-Mas with the latest movie. So, I'll have to get a new set this year as well. Besides who only want's one movie in 1080P and the rest at 480I.

Correct it is 480P...But the TV I have shows in 480I. I haven't convinced my wife to put a HD screen in my office!
