Do you drink alcohol?

Multiple Choice

Poll is anonymous.

I'm wondering if there is a connection of alcohol/drug use to crazy speeds. No, not riding while sauced up, I know some people enjoy a beer and ride, but I'm not talking about riding and drinking. I know there are some non-users out there and I applaud you. If you are sober, do you ride at high rates of speed?

Funny poll, but I was just laying in bed and my mind wouldn't stop. How do you shut these things called a brain off?!?!

Sober 8 yrs and still ride like a maniac on some country roads, When i was drinking and living Chitown i did some stupid drunken street racing on my old 86 gsxr 750, 120 down Elston ave st racing isnt too smart. Now im in Woodstock and ride the shit out of my Supermoto. Gotta love those train crossings that turn into 60 ft tabletops at 70mph! Cant do that on a crotch rocket. I may be crazy still just a little smarter now.

I use music for my poison. I do drink but more of a social thing. My mind races, I am not a big sleeper, and I turn to music, of all kinds to keep me sane. I am a noob rider so speed is not my thing. I do drive my car hella fast, but that's a whole other story. I never drink and drive/ride, never. As for turning the bean off, if you find out how, please let me know. I've been known to go for days without real sleep as mine can run non-stop.

Edit: I have a history of drug abuse, I'm clean for 10 years now. I'm pretty open about my past, if you have questions pm me, I'm willing to talk.

I don't ride, I cook!

Thanks for replying and being honest. I wonder if there is a co-relation with this in our brains. Living on the edge?!?!

I don't know. I could be crazy.

I have always needed large doses of adrenaline. Even as a kid. I rarely drink, but when I do, I get drunk. That is about 6 times a year, otherwise I stay fairly sober.

I used to smoke pot like a chimney, but I found that it wasn't doing too well for my attitude. Also I can't afford to loose my job if I get hurt at work, which is very possible.

All in all I ride fast because I fucking feel like it.

I drive cars slow because I don't feel safe in them. I don't understand why, but that is how it is.

Being sober is highly over-rated. I was clean and sober for 3 years, people hated me (they still do, when I'm zipped I don't give a f__K) and I was developing stress related allergies, so sever that they almost killed me. Jammin and MSL217 witnessed one of these events first hand, since I got off the wagon, the events have stopped, I still have to carry an epi-pen though.

Sometimes goodbye is your second chance.

used to drink until i blacked out a lot, and used a lot of hard drugs. now i drink a couple times a week usually just enough to get a little buzz. once in a while i do get pretty sloshed but not to the point i black out and usually not even to a hangover, recreations still though, can't stop everything. trying to quit cigs right now though, thats a bitch.

Very rarely will drink. I'm nuts without anything else needed. When I am teetering on the edge I like to be very clear where the edge exactly is. Plus I am always racing in the summer and I don't like to get dehydrated.
