Should we change the BOTW?

(BOTW) to BOTM (Bike of the month)

Maybe have users vote during the course of a month?

I dont hate on those members who ride bikes that arent sportbikes, but he does have a point here. This is a 90% sportbike community, yet it has a HD on the main screen. Seems a bit odd and out of place. Also, think of the image this conveys to new members. Again, not hating on cruisers, HD, or any other bike style...but it doesnt make much sense.

The main reason it doesn't get changed often is probably lack of good material. If more peeps posted quality shots of their bike with a decent backround I'd bet it would change more often.

I do see what you mean about mixed messages though.

IMHO any type of bike should be able to get the nod. Limit this to just sport bikes & you eliminate lots of unique or worthy rides.

I bought the mounting kit from Aztec 8, was thinking about just buying the lighting kit and being done with it, but she's for sale again. We'll see what happens.

I happen to like the current selection - Hell, the founders of this site don't even ride Sportbikes anymore - I know T has the Duc but he prefers to be comfy on his Strada - I know Ken wants to sell his Wing for something else but if you want to limit the site and all discussions thereof to only Sportbikes, you may have found the wrong URL - I know the name is deceiving but what I love about this site is that if you are on two, it's cool - Regardless of my Turd on the Homepage or not, Cruisers, Tards, Dirtbikes, Streetfighters, Sportbikes, WHO CARES???

Shud-uppah-yo-mouth and ride bitches!

Turns out 90% is about 10% off. Also, the 80% of folks that identify as sportbike riders also have pretty widely varied interests in other styles of bikes.

Variety is good.

i like the idea of a poll for a BOTM, but the idea was shot down awhile back. I could care less what kinda, or who's bike is on the home page, as long as it got changed weekly.
