I would sit on it for a month or so to see if the rightful owner could be found but then I would spend it in small amounts.

I'd donate it to CLSB's operating budget.

By Law if the rightful owner of the money is not found or comes forward the finders are entitled to it? This Laws are grey areas, and with the economy the way it is the state or town with the money will play games to keep it.
There was a case last year in IL I beleive with 60k that was not claimed and the town said he had to file paperwork in x days to claim it, but would not give the paperwork till deadline expired. Remember reading it somewhere.
I would have kept it. We have yet to see the worst of are economy.

It sounds like some of us have been throwing these ideas around in our heads for a while.

I was also trying to figure out how to...um...filter some of it into Pay Pal.

I heard chase was offering Credit cards to people without socials a while back in california or something, get one of those, open your paypal account with it, put money on, and buy needed items for a place where you can be sure to sign/pick it up.

That same night I'd be on my way to the casino to start laundrying some of the cash. It's one thing if it was a wallet, with an id so ya know who it belongs to. If it's between me or the state/gov/feds taking the money, I'll take my chances

Fuck no I would not turn it in. It's in bundles in a spare tire. Only one thing that does that and it's drug dealers. That shit would be all mine.

Kudos for those guys turning it in, but more then likely they won't get it back. Idiots. That money would been spent already. They get the recognition of turning it in, but the stupidity of not geting it back

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

Plus, they were at work, on the clock. I wouldn't give up a 30-40K/year or more job for a one-time 100K hit + jail time. Not a good deal.

I'd place less-likely detectable portions of it in relative bank accounts and have them write me checks for "birthday" and "Xmas" money and I'd pay off bills with it.

The rest of it - I'd use as those "cash" applications that would unlikely be traced... like food, etc.

Bingo.. turn it in.

Now, off the clock under different circumstances, I would notify the police department that a large sum was found and give an approximate location as well as an approximate time it was recovered... then take it from there based on when/if anyone can provide further specifics.

find it keep it and spend it on small things rather then big things.

And use my clever ways to exchange the money for different money then slowly deposit it in the bank to make it look like money from a job

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .
