This one rings with a certain pride,

I call it "welcome to moparboy's town"

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Something I noticed while looking at another yellow CBR, and also noticed on my old Ranger Edge: the yellow on the front and side fairings are totally different tones of yellow. Are the materials different between the 2 fairing pieces? It looks like the same difference the yellow was on my truck between the steel tailgate and the fiberglass stepside bed.

you are correct.. the front fairing is painted yellow.. but the side fairings are painted black with yellow decals.. so they don't match.. its really crappy.. i want to repaint the bike.

also.. the tank.. has one of those color matched tank bra's on it.. so its not exact too..

No, it's that color scheme. I was looking at buying a 99 exactly like Mopar's and I noticed it when looking over the bike and I was worried that it had been in an accident and some fairings were replaced/repainted. But then I've noticed it on other 99-00 yellow F4's. Only shows up on the yellow color though...

Weird..I wonder if I looked at the same bike before you bought yours this summer? Or it was another? It seems yellow is hard to match....
