Great Lakes Opening

Went to Union Grove today for some open racing. Got the bike to run really well. Ran a few 11.5s and 11.6s. The fastest MPH was 126.95mph but the last run of the evening went:
RT: .230
60': 1.983
330: 5.062
1/8: 7.463
MPH: 102.69
1000: 9.550
1/4: 11.344
MPH: 125.12

I'm pretty sure that's right on par with what a stock 600 should do. All in all a fun evening and 7 runs in the books.

You wanna see my itinerary?

Nice run!! Gotta work on the RT, though. :

Ride smart... stupid hurts.

Everyone crashes. Some get back on. Some don't. Some can't...

Godspeed 788!!! We miss you!

Have you tried any old school tricks?

tying the front down, lower psi rear tire,

You'll get better at watching the RPM. with time but try to note your finish RPM and if you can change sprockets to allow a second gear start.

Any amount of saved work, such as a shift will show in your ET.

You've brought back some old memories with the drag way.Every Tuesday in the early 80's

We offer three kinds of service @ Resurrection
GOOD - CHEAP - FAST
You can pick any two
GOOD service CHEAP won't be FAST
GOOD service FAST won't be CHEAP
FAST service CHEAP won't be GOOD
and cold beer.

I'd love to help but I don't chase parts.
Please contact other forum members and supporters for parts.

No worries.... I only have 1 launch under my belt with a 0 for the first digit (Which I thought I red-lighted and wheelied the shit out of)

Most of my lights are .1xx. Like I said, good run!

Maybe I'll see you out @ Byron this summer. :

There was one other bike there that was strictly a drag bike that was gonna strap my front end but I kind of just wanted to see what I could get out of the bike stock. I actually want to road race this bike more than drag it.

You wanna see my itinerary?
