Want a drag bike??

The real deal on a nice old GS1100E
Welded crank and clutch basket backing plate .
Runs great, needs paint.
I've never raced it bought it in 85' will sell if your interested.
Send PM or we can discuss here.
I think a fair price for this drag racing Icon would be over 2K

This photo is old she's not so pretty anylonger

Is this the white one? It would be a shame to see it hacked up into a drag bike.

They do go fast. They even stop and turn ok. Nothing like a modern bike but not too bad.

Sure is a cool machine. Even though it's not as nice as the pic, it's still too nice to cut up.

I rode this bike last night; I was telling Gus what a kick it was. Power is smooth, turns on a dime (which I wasn't ready for), and (though you didn't think they were that great, Gus) the brakes were more responsive than I expected. I've never raced so can't comment on that, but I bet it's up to the challenge. (By the way, Gus - hope you grabbed the keys...)

Ok an update we are painting the bike a pearl white with a lite brandy wine top coat.

We'll see how it turns out, using what is available has played out well before. I'll post picks latter this week.

This bike Will get A fresh fork and a complete cleaning.I have no plans no make this bike new.Although very nice and in very original shape I'm not going to sweat the little things.

It's 30 years old.

Yes I know it needs 2010 brakes and tires(tires are new although 3"wide.) and new rear shocks, these are original.

Come see it and convince me to sell it to you.

The red seat ties you to a palette pretty well .... or it would look wierd.

I always liked the sivler paint red combo of the original Katana adding red highlight
to compliment the seat and tie it together would be really sweet.

Burgundy should look good. The stock metallic burgundy looks awesome, especially in the sun, but I am a bit biased .

I think with a little Buffing and such she'll look just dandy.

Black seat and white stickers.Very stock looking. DUMB luck I guess??

He painted over the pearl white with a chevy Red.

The fella that painted it never saw it new and worked with the paint he had.
