Introduction to drag racing

I use to drag back in India. would like to know more about the dragracing scene over here. Would love to do some runs on the strip sometime. How much would it cost me? Is it a problem if my bike is bone stock?
Any help would be greatly appriciated..

there has been bunch of thread on that. i like us41 in morroco IN cause on test & tune it's $20 or $25 to run all day. no problem if the bike is stock, but most places will require at least a chain guard, and gear. leather if ya go over 120MPH in the 1/4.

I used to go tho the Grove quite often till Gofast Hooked me on NESBA. Stock 11 ZRX should be good for mid 11's. Just under 120. Need helmet, leather boots and gloves, Jacket can be textile and leather pants over 120 mph.

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

Its just south of rockford about 1hr drive from aurora/naperville area. 88w. to 39n to 72 west and you run right into it. From up north take 90w to 39s get off on exit 72 go west and you'll run right in to it.
