drag strips in area??
Hey just wondering where i could run a quarter mile with my bike, just want to see its speed heh. Also, to make it quicker, is it recommended to get a sprocket with a few extra teeth on it?? I want to try and make a drag bike that's street legal...slow project im sure, but will be fun!
Any other tips for modifying bike would be appreciated...and sites for the parts of course!

You have RT.66 in Joliet,IL. There is also a track in Byron,IL but don't know the name of it.

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

Grid Marshall.

You guys named the 3 closest.
I also wouldn't modify the bike much for drag racing if you are gonna run the Zx6 in your Sig. May lower it and strap the front end down. Otherwise learning to ride it is the big thing.
Oh yeah and head to the track as much as possible its cheap.

I spend most of my weekends out there racing. If your coming out stop bye and say hi. If you need some help with anything or advice let me know. Always looking to help new dragracers out.

I love how ppl say that but mine and some of my friends best times are at the grove. I agree the track looks like it goes down hill but I have my doubts.
