Were you running the Busa? What kind of times?

Thanks everybody... Took it on a trip to Byron yesterday for bike day. Bike ran great and I couldn't be happier about owning a busa again. On a side note, after going to Byron, I don't have much intention of ever going back to Great Lakes Dragaway..

Just for the record...

R/T - 0.527 (on a 0.5 perfect light)

60' - 1.807

330 - 4.509

1/8 - 6.683

mph - 112.53

1000 - 8.560

1/4 - 10.171

mph - 137.57

(Didn't have the bike lowered, 35psi in the tires, and we only got two runs as it was pretty crowded. So while it could have been better, I was pretty happy with my first effort as I'm not much of a dragracer at 250 pounds in gear.)

Sorry guys, I went but didn't race only watched.

I like Byron too, the track is really nice, and it's maintained well but IT'S DOWNHILL!

If anybody is interested I'm going to GLD on 08/12, I'll make a post now...

Were you the guy that did the big wheelie shifting into second or third. I saw that wheel get about two to three feet off the ground and I was thinking "Oh shit let off! Let off!".

Those are always such humbling experiences.

So did you learn anything from him?

When's next time you’re going to heading to the Byron drag strip?

Have you ever been to Cordova? They are going to be having a midnight mayhem here soon. If you or anybody else are interested in going I can get more details. Let me know.
