tonight on MTV --9p.m.

True Life: I Live to Ride tells the stories of three motorcycle crews and the lives they lead surounding their passion for riding.

This episode tells the stories of three motorcycle crews who perform extremely dangerous stunts and hope, one day, to become professional stunt-bike riders. Crews include Geared Up, working-class brothers who long to quit their father's business so they can ride full-time; Triplextreme, who may not stay together because they can't survive if riding is their only job; and the Pure Bred Riders, who, in contrast, love the outlaw lifestyle and have no intention of becoming X-Games stars.

I read it too fast. I thought they just wanted to "ride full time" as in just cruise around.

i thought they intentionally made the riders look a little immature...but i was cracking up when they got their free set of brake pads! and i've gotta give props to the dad that wouldn't let them go dick around and come back to their jobs afterwards.

sorry, but what i saw made me sick.
positive side of the sport= haveing fun.
getting alone with fellow riders.
respect one another
helping one another progress.
and a ton more.

negative side of the sport= mtv's live to ride.

sorry but the pro's that they showed just proved my theory.
they all forgot where they came from and forgot what it was all about.
i mean they put teams in there that where fueding. hey you went your seperate ways, big deal.
i don't have one thing positive to say about the show.
this is blood money,.. what????
first post and none of it's good, sorry.

So what did you guys think? Good show but I think I'd rather take over my dads million dollar business rather than making
$100/week doing stunt shows.
how about that dude at the end who lost his finger?

I'm with you

Now that kid is out of his father’s million dollar business and he is one finger down. If he was smart he would take over the business, start making really money and sponsor his own team down the road.

ya no shit. ha! your own business can sponsor your stunt club (business #2), make money in two ways, plus the donations to the stunt bikes is tax deductable for your 1st business! ha!

I thought it was awful. I shut it off after watching about 25 minutes of grown men bitch and moan more than an episode of "Real Life." I saw maybe 5 minutes of bikes and stunting, ghey.
