So on Friday i have court to appear for failure to show proof of insurance. i have it, i just didn't have it with me at the time. however i cannot make it to the court date due to school. the school cannot be rescheduled.

anyone know how exactly i can get a continuance without going into court? i looked all over the website and i dont see anything.

yeeep i have school on Thursday and Friday. its the only days all year for this class i cant miss it.

i finally got a hold of someone, they said i have to come in tomorrow or friday.. of course my school is tomorrow and friday

Did you try asking them if you could stop in to the court house today to provide the insurance card? Being it's in the afternoon now it might be pointless to try that. See if someone else can go for you. I know that works in DuPage but unsure how Cook County rolls especially bc they always seen to change how they do things on a daily basis.

they said 9am-11am tomorrow, or 9am before my court date on Friday, thats it.

i'm now working on trying to convince someone to go for me with cash.

If it was before 8am, I'd do it for you as I drive by the place everyday.
