HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

42 in a 30 and no registration.

both have legitimate back stories but i suppose they don't matter much. i don't think i've gotten a ticket in 3 years... maybe like 2 1/2? not sure...

Speed isn't so bad... but the registration is the kicker.... The speed is an easy supervision ticket.... What about the registration? Can you prove it or is it a legit ticket?

bought the bike saturday. trailered it home and the first ride was sunday when i got the ticket. i was under the impression i had a window... rode around with the title and bill of sale as my supporting documents. evidently the laws changed... so it's a legit ticket, just unfortunate. and all the paperwork was handled tuesday once the SOS office opened.

You don't need an attorney. If you got all the paperwork done at the SOS on tuesday, take that to court and talk to the prosecutor on the side before court starts. Show him or her the paperwork and then ask him or her to drop that charge and give you supervision on the speeder.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.
