Riding Dirty

I just recently got back into riding after a 4-5 year hiatus. In the past I wouldn't ride with plates on my gix 750 and if a cop tried to pull me over I'd run.

My new bike has a top speed of 115 mph (aprilia sxv 550) and so I don't think I would be able to make a clean getaway esp with all the cameras and increase in law enforcement (although I can light offroad her). I've been contemplating riding without plates as I can't behave on the street but not sure what the fine/punishment is.

IMHO, it's easier to ditch a popo with a SM. Curbs, stairs, parks, inside shopping malls, are now your playground.

I'm sure the fine you'll get will be less than the ~$200 for plates and reg. Go for it!

Riding down the center of some rail tracks is also an acceptable playground.
