Bikes and City Sticker?

Am I missing something here? are bikes suppose to have City Stickers too? I just got a Notice of violation in the mail with a $120 fine for "No City Sticker or Improper Display" (violation code - 0964125) Has anybody ever had to deal with this? Can I fight this (to avoid paying the fine)? I know it cant be my plates (coz they are properly displayed). Help and Advice from anybody? Very much Appreciated. Thanks!

Paul

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

They've been around forever, I think it's up to you as a resident to know the law. I think they're normally $45.00 when you pay on time. You will get absolutely reemed with a late charge(on top of the ticket) though. Hopefully you bought your bike this year, otherwise they can back charge you to get up to date. It's high in the city, I moved out 2 years ago and now my village registration is only $5.00.
