Not a law at all, they have to have probable cause just like anything else though it has been happening. We have been telling motorcyclists that if it happens for no reason to contact the town it happens in and ask why they are profiling motorcyclists, also ask to speak with the village attorney that always wakes them up. The members of A.B.A.T.E. have been dealing with this issue already and successfully I might add.

When doesn't that happen? We just cause too much trouble!

I thought with all of the new homeland security guidelines or something in the law has already switched .... anyone could get pulled over for any reason, whether in a car, truck or on a bike??

Pulling you over can always be justified after the fact with a simple "It looked like they wiggled in their lane from what I saw"....

Well, based on what I saw yesterday not always. I was in Mundelien court house and there was a lady fighting a ticket that she turned left on red. Cop said she crossed the white line and proceded to turn on the red. lady said she wwas already past the white line when the light turned red and she had to finish turning. Judge let her walk.

probable cause is needed to make a traffic stop... this is very easy to find on just about any vehicle (an exhaust "louder" than stock... which is just about any aftermarket..., not signaling a lane change, yadda yadda). even going 5mph over the speed limit is cause to stop someone if you really want.

you should have an m class and insurance anyways so it shouldn't make a difference.

Depends on jurisdiction. IL has been pushing for cameras in all cruisers, even included a statutory fee that gets tagged on to DUI's specifically for that purpose. Most of DuPage has 'em, with the notable exeption of Naperville (which is odd since they write more DUI's than almost any other municipality in the state)
If you were serious about fighting it, that tape would vindicate you.

If they observed you from the 'side' doing the 'wiggly' it would not be on camera
