Vehicle towed, should I get a court hearing?

My car got towed a while ago from the city and I'm trying to decide if I should bother with a court hearing. The car was supposedly in a tow zone but I'm quite sure it was a legal parking spot, it was one of those areas with a No parking to the left and to the right signs

<-- No parking __My Car____Some other cars___ No Parking -->

and my car was parked in between those signs along with a few other cars. I'm guessing they towed it because the No Parking to the Left sign was really faded and the Left arrow is really hard to see unless you get up close to it so maybe the tow truck driver thought I was under a No Parking sign instead of a "No Parking to the Left of this Sign" area.

Anyways, I was wondering how I would even prove this to the court (that my car was legally parked, I don't have any pictures of my car in that area before I got towed) and if I would have to pay any fees to have a court hearing. Probably not even worth it for $200, but I really don't think I was in violation.

I think financially it's not worth it. Yeah, you'll prob win $150 back, may be they'll even cover court expenses but you'll lose a lot of time. Shit happens, treat it as a minor unexpected expense - pay and forget about it.

Carry a red pen and fix the signs. While your at it make a "no parking except for JonGu!" sign so you can reserve your spot!
