McHenry Route 31

The Statees have been heavily patrolling and ticketing everyone North of Crystal Lake on 31. I got popped for improper lane usage and a warning for the radar detector because it was on the glass (obstruction of view). There were three pulled over in front of me and a good two-four pulled over South bound. The officer said they are not doing a "sting" but rather trying to minimize accidents. From my understanding there was a fatality a week or two ago. Just a heads up. BTW: I saw two this morning 8:40am South bound on 31 (just outside of McHenry)

How you found us: dont recall

coming home from south elgin today there were 9 cops on the side with lights and people pulled over. 3 more waiting on a side street and 2 further north probably waiting fro someone to run. Ive never seen anything like that. What a traffic nightmare they were creating with so many flashing lights on the shoulder.
Ho can they put 15 or so cops in a one mile stretch and have coverage elsewhere? They were primarily state cops
This was 31 about a mile and a half south of McHenry

My brother is a McHenry County Cop who often patroles that area. There was a really bad crash 2 weeks ago and it was an asshole running from my brother and one of his colleagues.

Here's the pics somebody took and e-mailed to my bro. Cops were called because Asshole was beating his wife. Asshole sees my brother in his squad and takes off. My brother puts on an APB, and his colleage gets in a high speed chase that ends with Asshole in the pond behind the Holiday Inn off 31. I should start a separate thread about this.

Here's my lil brother.

And finally

Beat your wife.
Run from the cops.
Drive into a pond.

Yeah, wise choices all around. He should run for senate. That record is enough to make Teddy Kennedy jealous.

They could collaborate on an album called..."The Laws I Propose Don't Apply to Me" filled with country diddies.

WOW!!! We have to give that idea to Paul Shanklin (the guy who does the parody songs on Rush Limbaugh, for those of you living under a left wing rock).

Barack the Magic Negro...

EDIT: Aaaahh, to clarify because some are obviously not aware of the above statement, it is the name of Shanklin's latest song stirring controversy

Looks like he's up teh creek, pond in this case, without a paddle.

His criminal career is all washed up.

I guess his spirits were dampened by the outcome.

I guess he dove in over his head.

Maybe he should had drowned his sorrow.

Sorry someone had to.D

or they would expand the roads and put in stop lights (but this costs $$$) to adapt to the ever growing Suburbs.
