Got tagged in Michigan

Just wanted to warn you all to watch your driving in Michigan. they have no traffic school or supervision so you get stuck with the points and get screwed on insurance.

On my way from Michigan to Road America I got caught doing 82 in a 70 on the highway. Luckily I was written up for 75 in a 70. On the highway going 5 over doesn't give you any points on your license. I did get screwed with a $105 fine though.

Too bad you aren't as lucky as Uniball. On our way to Manistee, MI, for the backpacking trip he got pulled over by a state trooper. The trooper turned out to be a hot blonde. Uniball was all sweet and flirty and she let him off with a warning. It was some funny sh*t. He was doing close to 90 in a 70.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

Sorry to hear that.

A few weeks ago I got let go with a warning for doing 85 in a 70. I had the cruise set. She was coming after me before I even passed her. She was a hot looking cop. She walked up to the passenger side door and asked me "What is your hurry?" I said "I'm in no hurry now." After swapping pleasantries, she let me go.

Chills and a buddy of mine were in the car.

Where is the $400 coming from? My trip only cost me theprice of the ticket and some misc food/alcahol expenses.

The only reason I'm not mad about the ticket is I don't have to pay for gas. that trip would have cost me about $100 in gas anyways. Oh yeah, i don't pay for the car or insurance also

They sure as hell didn't get a good return on that investment.

You should be fired for wasting company resources.

Forget that. If they want me to drive my own car for that stuff they can buy me a $30k parking space in my building to store the company car.
I bring in between $16M to $100M in business a year for my company. So I think they can handle it.

Dude, you take yourself WAY too seriously. I said it was a waste of company resources because you couldn't close the deal. Not because you used the car for personal reasons.

Dude, that's it? If you're an account executive, that ain't shit. Also, what is with the range? 16M to 100M? That is a huge swing in sales from year to year.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. Sorry for harping on this, but I want to make sure my ass isn't under paid. You bring in no more than 100 mil and you can afford your sweet pad and your bike? Fuck, I am in the wrong business!

Account executive can mean anything from a sales person to an real executive. It's a pretty broad title. I was an account executive only brining in $20k/month at my first job. that's sales, not salary.

The swing is because basically my sales last year, this year and next. it's a wide range. Last year I averaged about about $16M (only been with the company 6 months), This year I'll be about to $40, Next year hopefully $100M if contract negotations turn our well.

As for pay and what I can afford...we'll I can say my type of sales position pays well because you have to have an engineering degree and I am expected to travel world wide. In my industry doing the stuff I do, pay starts around $40k and can get up to about $200k. It all depends on experience, skill set, but mostly what company you work for. the small companies pay the best from what I've seen.

So you claim to bring in $16M to $100M per year, yet you have only been there 6 mos. MAYBE you will be at $40M this year and MAYBE $100M next year. I think you left out a keyword in your previous post. PROJECTION.

Like my profile says .... You've got the talkin' done.

20K is weak........

Sometime I will tell the story about how I blew almost $1,000,000 of good old US govt tax payer money in about 4 hours (assuming they were flight parts) because the lead engineer told me to put a part in a test socket turned 90 degrees in the wrong direction.

Did I mention that was my first or second week....
