Blue is an emergency color in the State of Illinois, intended for use only by emergency vehicles. If that doesn't apply to you, what do you think? Welcome back to the suck.

In Illinois, the plate light has to be white, no exceptions. Otherwise steady blue lights appear to be OK, but not flashing, oscillating or rotating ones.

Technically they are not legal for non police car, but I have yet to be ticketed for my blue plate light.

We all undertake a modicum of risk everytime we thumb the starter-it's just inherent to the sport.

It depends on your area, the cops, and you. The police officers I know would not even take notice with a normal car. Then again, most officers I know ride so they tend to check out bikes. When they do notice, its because you are doing something else to get their attention.

What do the internet and Channel 11 have in common? They are both a window to the world; put it out there and do not be surprised who will see it.
