village tickets

So I usually get a ticket for expired plates. no biggy. But the cop had nothing going on so he gave me more.

So he gave me one for no village sticker. (my car is parked in that village, but I am not a resident of that village) car is parked on private property(parking lot)

Im going to fight it in village court. Is it worth fighting? So i just show I am a resident of this town, and heres the owner of the property that says I don't live there and have permission to leave my vehicle on the lot. I notice also on the ticket, he's listing the previous village sticker from the "old owner" who lives in another town. so WTF?

So I need rob to pro boner me in court.

What address do your license plates register to?

the license plates are addressed to my current residents. Which I can prove with my insurance bill, and other types of bills.

the location of the vehicle being parked is in another town.

(The previous owner had a village sticker from another town, which isn't mine.) usless information never bothered to scrape it off. she was a milf

My ticket says my correct address which is not of the town that ticketed me.

the cop has a high badge number. So I dont know if its a rookie thats trying to look good.

It depends on how the local ordinance reads. Overnight parking by residents only, etc.....

Wife had the same problem when at SOW shopping. Village sticker was tossed, platesticker was also tossed, but did have current sticker, just not on the plate. Called PD and explained the situation and only had to send in information with ticket and all went away.

Call the PD, some towns have ordiances on unplated and expired plates on private property. Depending on the town they may work with you, (revenue generater tickets in bad times are huge)

I dont think it applys(private/business). but he gave me all different ordinance violations.

He came back every two hours to write me a new one(different ordinance). and the ticket numbers are back to back except one of them.

I didn't care when they gave me 1 ticket every 2 months. but i guess hes not meeting his quota.

Can't ticket you for the sticker if the vehicle is registered to an address outside the village. They also can't write you more than once for the same infraction within x period of time (forget exactly what that is, but it is certainly a lot more than every 2 hours).

they were different ordinances for the same day.

Im wondering about the other tickets then. Im wondering if I paid for two tickets within a month for the same violation. I got one, paid it week later which they gave me a court date because payment was late. And I think they gave me one like a week later.

Why would you usually get tickets for expired plates?

I have an expired tag. They would ticket me every 3-4 months. no big deal, because its cheaper than me buying a plate sticker for a car I dont drive.

I think it was last month when they started hitting me more frequently.

It's probably because your neighbors are complaining you don't have enough old fieros up on blocks in front of your trailer. they are threatening to put your wheels back on and tow you out of the park.

dude, it was that one time both of us were drunk. And you brought your truck. and we winched the trailer parks owners trailer and faced it the opposite direction. He would never guessed it was me, but you burned your tires all the way back to my trailer.

I dont know why you woulda been issued a village sticker citation then. Why don't you go to the PD or request a court date and inquire?

Maybe it is a rookie who messed up it'e one way to find out (badge # sequences mean nothing bc they get recycled)

If you are being issued citations for different offenses at different times that is permissable. Usually you can not be issued a parking citation for the same ordinance violation more than once within a 24 hour period.

Also, in the town I formerly worked in, regardless of the license plate registration address, we could write someone for no village sticker if we could prove that they were in some way basically living in the village. This was done if your DL or ID card address was in town or if there were witnesses (like neighbors) complaining about a car or person and willing to testify to the fact that someone lived at a residence in town.

If the town that is on the registration requires a village sticker, any PD can give you a ticket for not having it. At least that's what the judge told me.

I had this happen before getting a ticket for no sticker. I called the PD and asked why I got a ticket for a village sticker when I don't live in the village and they told me to come in and we talked and yadda yadda yadda and it was taken care of.

Why are you storing a car in a village you don't live in? If it's stored there, it needs a sticker.

you've never seen wraith? 80s classic crapola.

Fiero, your turds rusting away in the driveway or up on blocks in the yard are not helping the neighborhood image. If it was in my neighborhood I'd call on you f-ing daily, and I'm not exaggerating. If that didn't do it I'd probably douse that hunk of shit in gasoline and turn it into a bonfire.
