F__K Wisconsin

What BS. I got a ticket yesterday on 94 in my car, I was moving with traffic at about 80 and was pulled over by a motorcycle cop. $186 bucks and I'm moving at the same speed as the semi traffic. The ticket should just say driving while being a FIB.

My Gear saved my life.

$186 isn't bad, I got one for doing about 75 in a 55 (with traffic) in WI and it was $350 I think.

WI is awful about that stuff. The last ticket I got was a few years ago on 90 about 10 miles from the MN border heading westward. He fed me some BS about how they used 'a technique to gauge speed he was not at liberty to describe to me' and how it was mechanical so even if I had a radar detector, it wouldn't have gone off. he said they clocked me at 81 in a 65. I was going 72. He then said I was a nice guy and reduced it to 79 in a 65 'out of the goodness of his heart because I was being cooperative' and then said the points wouldn't transfer if I just plead guilty and paid it now, he had a credit card machine in his car. I knew that was BS, I had a MI DL at the time, and points ALWAYS transfer to Michigan. Fight it. I didn't, paid it (it was 280 bucks) and that single ticket destroyed my record for years. My insurance literally just decreased by 40% last month since it had been five years since. WI is pure evil incarnate.

I don't know that having WI plates helps all that much. My brother had WI plates when he last had a car, and got a few very expensive tickets, for at most 20 over the limit. I travel I-94 to milwaukee often to see my mother and keep it under 75 in wisconsin. I have yet to be pulled over, and I'm usually going with the flow at that speed.

And you guys wonder why cars with IL plates are targeted? Probably has NOTHING to do with the shear number of IL plated vehicles on the interstates going 100+mph.

That whole "moving with the flow of traffic" argument makes no sense. How is that any kind of argument against getting a speeding ticket? I shot a guy in cold blood the other day, but it's ok cause the guy next to me did the same thing. You were going 80 mph in a 55? Man up and take responsibility.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

After all the talk and seeing what groups of bikers on this site all getting pulled over and ticketed. And people still speed in the state. Unless I'm on an open straight, I will not speed in that state. Hell, coming back from a Sunday ride up there, speed limit was 65 and the group was doing 70. Seen cops all over the place ticketing people. Once me and another rider hit the state line and said welcome to il, we then tipped open the throttles and flew.

...plus my gf was with me saying "omg slow down, slow down" and I was thinking "Lose annoying squalk box in passenger seat, afford more mods and have less weight in the car and on the back of the bike"...so i dumped her and I'm single again as usual...HERE KITTY KITTY!!!

If your in Wisconsin, run 74 in a 65mph zone. 9 over is about the limit, and I haven't gotten pulled over in a long time. (Near 7 years) Back roads are free game, but a gamble. And if your ever in Rosendale, go UNDER the speed limit. They WILL pull you over for 1 mph over.

And BTW...... IL cops target WI drivers and WI cops target IL drivers. It evens out. (We just charge more for the ticket )

He had me I had the cruse set at a bit over 75 I had gotten stuck in with some semi traffic so i accelerated a bit to get around. Motorcycle cop, he was quick and to the point no bs lecture about the dangers of doing 80 on a straight road in my BMW. He came up with the gun showed me the readout said he had me steady and went and wrote the ticket had me out of there in less than 5 min. He did say that that is the lowest moving violation ticket price and it I had been going 1mph more I'd have been paying substantially more.

No shit if it were about safety they would pull over the old fucks who drive 5 under and can't stay in their lane. It's a racket. I'll tell you what though my next little weekend getaway will be in Michigan and not Wisconsin because of this. That's really all you can do if their predatory ticketing practices cost them tourism dollars maybe they'll wake up.

That's because Atlanta has the worst drivers in the country. Everytime I drive near or through Atlanta I see mulitple acts of stupidity. The 402 was closed down completely in two separate places on the SAME night once due to accidents; it took 4 hours just to get through that mess.

I've been sticking to 285 to avoid most of the city traffic. So far so good.

People do tailgate excessively here. In fact, the schmuck that does most of the driving, drives similarly. Drives me nuts.. hard on the throttle, only to nail the brakes 5 seconds later. I did hit a few of the back roads today. Nothing too technical... Had some nice scenery. I'm sure there are some paved technical roads around here somewhere too.

If everyone around you is going 80 and you go 55 you are now a hazard and more dangerous than going with the flow of traffic.

Your 1st problem is you were in a BMW, he probably doesnt like people who drive Bmeers - to him it equalz "Latte drinking yuppie motherfucker" so that was your 1st mistake. 2nd Mistake was speeding - so he didnt get the truck, he figured that YOU - "Latte drinking yuppie motherfucker" has more money than poor fuckin truck driver!
So what did we learn today,
1. Dont drive a BMW over the speed limit cause Public civil servant decrys - "Latte drinking yuppie motherfuckers" and is out to get them.

2. Dont drive over the limit in Wisconson cops in Wisconson are on the lookout for "Illinoisians Latte drinking - Bmw driving yuppie motherfuckers"!

3. Just cause the truck is speeding doesnt mean jack shit cause its guarantted that the - "Latte drinking yuppie motherfucker" will always take it in the can!

i was like $300. Yes, I was speeding, but it still sucked none the less. I have learned my lesson and won't do more than 5 over in that state. Just takes me much longer to get to Door County now!

hmm fracker and me were pulled over last year there and he was clocked speeding but wasn't given a speeding ticket not even a warning. But did get one for forgetting to put his plate sticker on it

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .
