So, when he stopped you for no signal, what did he find that got you hooked up?

You weren't in Racine were you? They had someone hooked up outside the tattoo shop, and had two squads there.

apparently i'm a "big guy in a big jacket" and he was a skeered his bullets might bounce off.

Lot's of "yes sir"'s, "gee i'm sorry about that, sir", "what do you need from me, sir?"

Most polite and courteous I've ever been to a cop and I end up sitting on my hands in bracelets.

Fuck him. I hope he's at the court date.

94 south, headed back to Indiana. Mother fucker told me to get off at the next exit (130th) until the next call on the radio was "shots fired. semi-automatic handgun, dolton"

Wow sorry you had to go through that, can't believe he cuffed you. Maybe you're just an intimidating looking guy hehe.

Two of my friends and I got cuffed and tossed in the back of a cop cruiser because we were playing basketball after 10pm, I was 16 I think.

Seriously though the guy was probably just on a power trip.

After asking if I had any weapons or anything else he was searching me, which I felt was reasonable, and all of a sudden i hear him pull the cuffs out and was just like.....uhh...."can I ask what the problem seems to be"

"i'm just doing it by the book, you're a pretty big guy"

Since when is "by the book" for a routine traffic stop for a blown turn signal hand cuffs? Fucking lying pig assholes. No fucking wonder I hate cops. If you're afraid of me just fucking say you're afraid of me.

Was trying to make this as smooth and easy as possible. shut the bike down, handed him my keys, hand my helmet off. Asshole.

At the end he asked if I had any questions for him.

I wanted to ask "aren't you glad I didn't run?" But even kept that to myself.

failure to signal and violation of classification.

The second is because he's a fucking idiot and doesn't understand that because I'm from Indiana my permit (yes, not a full endorsement until next weekend - sue me) doesn't require that I ride with a fully endorsed rider, like the illinois permit does.

the least the prick could have done would be to cuff me in front of my body so i didn't have to sit on the fucking things in the back of his car. fucking things are NOT comfortable.

Yeah i've sat with cuffs on behind the back, shit fucking hurts and it bruises/cuts you. I wonder if you can sue him for excessive use of force, he really had no premise to cuff you. What a douchebag.

Ah, i believe you are partially correct. I bet the ILCS written is for not having a class "M" license. Either in IN or IL. However, I did not know you could be towed for that. if you were towed that's a home town rule and based on the limited information I have I'd say it's accurate.

In Illinois you can be ordered out of the car and if the officer has reason (for example I believe mac11 is a big guy I guess and a solo cop who is smaller could deem it necessary) can be placed in cuffs for safety. 99% of all PD's REQUIRE cuffs to the rear and not the front too.

its written as 625 5 6-014(A) - Violation of classification (Motorcycle).

But I have a valid IN permit that he pulled up and acknowledged on his computer and I have the paper copy with me.

Mother fucker ran my lic plate, DL #, and VIN like 3 times each. Like he didn't believe they were clear. Fucker ran me to check for a gun permit too.

Pissed me off...it's like....look fucker, it came back clean. How much more could you be blatently trying to take me to jail? And I'm being fucking nice.

Asked me like 15 times if I had drugs while he was searching my crotch and bike. Who offers to be searched that is holding? Seriously?

Then he says "it's ok if you just tell me". Bullshit it's ok if I just tell you. Even if I were holding and I told you about it, that wouldn't make it ok. Fucking entrapment like a mother fucker. What a cock sucker.

I'm fucking pissed. What a raw fucking deal.

There were never any limitations to the state of Indiana specified in the documentation or verbally when I received the permit. i would say that is a NO unless it is buried in bullshit bylaws somewhere.
