That's why Apple is the envy of all corporations around the world.
The man's doing his job and he's damn good at it.

Kudos Apple.

You better be nice to America or we will bring democracy to your country.

Pretty accurate however. Marketing is still marketing.

exactly why they released the ipad without wifi and 3G access and then a month later release one with those features. people jumped on the band wagon and apple made a shit ton of money. sounds like the consumers are the dumb ones not apple.

Ummm, no.

They talked about both models when the announced the product earlier this year. Some people just could not wait for the 3G and bought the wifi model.

I actually think the wifi model will be more popular as it is cheaper and not many want to pay even more money to ATT.

I use my iPhone WITHOUT the phone features activated, and only use it as WiFi for the past two years.

Actually the first one was only missing 3g, it had the wifi radio in it. it's also cheaper, this is the one I am thinking about getting. Soon as they put flash in it.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

They will never put flash in it, unless Jobs dies.

I think it has been posted before but the real key is that they create demand before the product is released. Every other company releases the product and then tries to convince people how much they need it. Create the hunger then feed them. Another cool thing is that their products are cool, price is not really an issue over function. The product is made well and it costs what it costs. Sure they can dumb down the iPod to compete with $20 mp3 digital music players but why fight for the bottom of the market where price rules?
Same method is used buy BMW and Benz, even Bugatti. You do not lust for these brands because you need basic transportation. You want them because of either the performance and technology or because it puts you in a special group/status.
That being said, I am practical and own a PC and Android phone LOL!
