I do, I've had the same personal email address for over 10 years now. Why would I try to change it when it's free, all my friends have it, and it's accessible from any web browser or smartphone in the world?

+1.

I don't have hotmail (hate their web interface, like gmail better). A domain name is a domain name is a domain name.

I used hotmail back in 1998 and gave that email address out to everyone and everyone. I was rewarded with tons of spam so I changed to yahoo. When gmail was invite only I changed to that to separate business email and email from friends between the yahoo account and gmail account. I also created a junk email account to give out whenever a promoter required it but I didn't want their junk emails.

As an IT guy if you only have one email account then somethings wrong hotmail interface blows meechs balls

I have several email accounts(work, hotmail, yahoo, gmail, and my own domain). But I use my hotmail for all my personal use and it's treated me well. To each his own, I hate yahoo and gmail is cumbersome.

I'll agree yahoo is cumbersome unless you use yahoo classic. I like the way gmail organizes emails in to conversations and they used to and still may have the largest free storage.

You're right though, to each his own. Once you get used to an interface it's a PITA to switch.

Almost word for word what Vcook said. I'm not feeling like changing it unless something huge makes me. Hotmail has almost lost me a few times, but they pulled their heads out of their collective arse and got things back on track. Gmail is my backup e-mail.

Chris, did you get the Thank You E-mail from Hotmail on the 10th anniversary of using Hotmail? That tripped me out when I got that.

Before hotmail, I used Juno free E-mail.

that was an app that enabled you to use AOL on "borrowed time" every 29 days. I think I started using AOL in like 1993 or something... man so long ago I can't even remember. It came in the mail on 3" floppy.
