Here's a little history for ya....

Nazi's had their symbols inside circles mostly.
This symbol shown here is a representation of Native American peace or other cultural harmony in like India, etc. Kinda makes sense with the addt'l decor and reverse of the symbol.

Ya the house obviously was before the swastica got it's current meaning. I'm surprised it's stayed there so long though. Seems like somebody would have done something about it in the 1940s.
